    ARTICULO 1248 .- Las donaciones prometidas o hechas a la mujer por razón de matrimonio, o como dote, son regidas por las disposiciones relativas a los tí­tulos gratuitos, y los que las prometan o hagan, sólo están obligados como los donantes a los donatarios en las simples donaciones. Ellas, llevan la condición implí­cita de si el matrimonio se celebrare, o se hubiere celebrado.
